Embracing life in the here and now.

Here at The Spires, we understand the very special nature of caring for those with cognitive or memory impairment as a result of Alzheimer’s or dementia. Rather than looking back for answers, we look forward, embracing the dignity and experience of each individual in order to create a care plan that is tailored to their needs.

What is Memory Care?

Memory care is a specialized form of care for those living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other cognitive forms of memory loss. Residents in memory care are provided with secure environments and daily routines throughout their stay, as well as mild therapeutic curriculums to help maintain autonomy, dignity, and independence as they work to overcome their difficulties.

Memory Care at The Spires

Employing a progressive curriculum that incorporates art, music and direct personal interaction, residents who have mild-to-profound symptoms of Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other forms of memory loss disorders are made to feel safe in our comfortably appointed Memory Care neighborhood. Staff here are not only individually trained in cognitive best practices for memory support, but also encouraged to engage with family members in order to ensure a collaborative and individualized approach to care. With a private courtyard for Memory Care residents, this neighborhood functions as a safe haven within The Spires.

Entrance Fees – For residents of The Spires, there is no additional entrance fee for relocation to Health Services. Residents entering Health Services from outside of The Spires will be responsible for paying a non-refundable Community Fee.
