A CORNERSTONE OF CARE.
As a Life Plan Community, The Spires offers the full spectrum of healthcare resources, so you won’t ever have to worry about life’s “what ifs” when it comes to both the quality and cost of long-term healthcare. Choosing The Spires means you’re covered. As a resident, you will not only have access, but you can count on a network of support to ensure your needs are addressed in a timely fashion without ever burdening your loved ones. Not a current resident of The Spires? That’s okay, too. We accept admittance for all levels of care.
From the beginning, our design for The Spires at Berry College has always been predicated on the presence of a fully accredited healthcare center that is second to none in our region. That vision has now been realized in Magnolia Place.
Offering comprehensive services that include Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation, Magnolia Place will deliver exemplary care. From our in-house physician through the ranks of our team, every facet of care at Magnolia Place is calibrated to meet the highest standards.
The doctor is in.
Our staff physician, Dr. Amanda Reeves, D.O., will see patients at our onsite clinic by appointment or on a walk-in basis. A member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians and the Georgia Osteopathic Medical Association, Dr. Reeves has been in practice in the Rome area for the better part of ten years.
Until construction on the clinic is finalized, residents of The Spires will receive priority appointments with Dr. Reeves at her office at Floyd Medical Center, less than three miles from our campus. A second physician will attend to residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods on an ongoing basis.
Where we are.
Situated within minutes of two major hospitals, Magnolia Place is at the forefront of health services both in terms of the excellence of our staff and the medical technology at their disposal.
How we live.
Designed from the ground up to extend the lifestyle and compassionate culture of The Spires to residents who require care, Magnolia Place is structured into three distinct welcoming neighborhoods. Each consists of a selection of private living spaces, and offers the same caliber of amenities, services and social spaces that are in evidence throughout The Spires.
Dining here.
The culinary experience at Magnolia Place will exceed your every expectation. Restaurant-quality dishes will be prepared and served from fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and attractive options will be available for breakfast, lunch, dinner—and everything in-between. Meals, snacks and refreshments are all included under our monthly service fee and our culinary team is happy to address any special dietary requirements or preferences.
Convenient location.
Whether here for long-term care or just a short-term stay in rehab, residents in Magnolia Place enjoy access to many of the fitness, wellness, recreational and educational programs of The Spires, in addition to the natural attractions of the Berry College campus and to the resources of downtown Rome.
Our people.
Experienced and accomplished. Compassionate and prepared. Every member of the Magnolia Place team is committed equally to the pursuit of medical excellence and the personal comfort of the people in our care. Under the oversight of our Medical Director, team members are selected through an extensive process of interviews and training which includes a special program of memory care training for every member of our care staff.
