Skilled nursing & short-term rehabilitation in Northwest Georgia

An uplifting environment with a high level of care.

The full continuum of care provided at The Spires encompasses both skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation. Residents in skilled nursing are cared for with a positive approach and genuine affection – this compassion is a central component of our care philosophy across Health Services at The Spires.

Short-term rehabilitation at our community serves to help those individuals who require a higher level of care and attention as they recover from a surgery or fall. With physical therapy, 24-hour nursing assistance and help with daily activities, residents are able to recover mobility and restore strength onsite before returning to their home in independent living or assisted living.

Expert caregivers & specialized therapists.

In a homelike setting, The Spires provides the highest level of attention and care available with a staff that includes many of the region’s most experienced professional caregivers, including RNs, LPNs and certified caregivers as well as physical, occupational and speech therapists. In partnership with Broad River Therapy, a nationally recognized provider of services to older adults, short-term rehabilitation at The Spires is an exceptional resource for getting you back on your feet and providing preventive assistance for those at risk for fall or injury,

The cost of care for short-term rehabilitation after a hospital stay is covered through Medicare/Managed Care. The Spires also accepts private pay and works with a range of health insurance providers.
