Sometimes the face of compassion wears a smile.
In Skilled Nursing, the quality of care depends not only on the aptitude of caregivers, but just as importantly on their attitude. Maintaining a positive disposition and genuine affection for our residents is a central component of our care philosophy across Magnolia Place. And nowhere is that positivity more present than here.
This neighborhood is where residents who are being treated for an illness or injury receive 24-hour skilled nursing care or rehabilitation to help them recover mobility and restore strength. In a homelike setting, Magnolia Place provides the highest level of attention and care available with a staff that includes many of the region’s most experienced professional caregivers, including RNs, LPNs and certified caregivers as well as physical, occupational and speech therapists.
Rehabilitation at Magnolia Place is administered in partnership with the therapists of Functional Pathways, a nationally recognized provider of services to older adults. In addition to their expertise in the specific disciplines of therapy and rehabilitation, Functional Pathways team members have been trained to identify residents who may be at risk for falls or mishaps and to offer counseling and preventive assistance that can prevent injury.
The cost of care for those in need of short-term rehabilitation after a trauma will be covered through Medicare/Managed Care. Magnolia Place will also accept private pay and works with a range of health insurance providers.
